Satori Capital is a Texas-based multi-strategy investment firm founded upon the principles of conscious capitalism. Satori expresses this philosophy through a variety of investment strategies, including a private equity business, an alternative investments platform, an acceleration business, a public equity strategy focused on the renewable energy sector, and a business focused on transformational companies developing innovative solutions for mental health.

THE CHALLENGE: Customized Experiences, Complex Data

As CFO/COO Willie Houston III pointed out, Satori wants to ensure extraordinary outcomes for all its stakeholders, including sourcing unique investment opportunities and creating customized investor experiences. VP of Finance Claire McInnis added that this approach meant Satori needed a fund administrator who could manage its complex structures and make the information accessible to investors in a modern platform, not just a document repository.

She noted how traditional fund administration can get rather “stale,” reporting just on historical information.

Satori wanted to partner with someone who had a different approach to fund administration and could help the firm maintain its unique touch for investors and provide as close to “real-time” data as possible. She concluded that in order ”To provide a world-class investor experience, we knew we needed a world-class fund administrator” who could properly manage Satori’s complex structures and get data to the right stakeholders at the right time.

THE GOAL: A Forward-Thinking Administrator

Satori wanted to work with a partner that could manage its complex investment structures and customized investor portfolios while also providing LPs with clear visibility into their portfolio’s performance—both as a whole and at the individual investment level.
